Leaked and Released Jerseys of the 2020-21 season from the Bundesliga - Kit Review!
Football in most countries has come to the end of the season. Fans are left with two options - complain and wait till the next set of fixtures are announced, and to feel excited as all clubs start dropping their kit concepts and styles for the upcoming season. I choose to feel excited. Here, we will take an analytical view of major kit releases and leaks and rate them. Today, we continue from where we left last time and start with the German clubs playing at the top-most tier.

Werder Bremen
Wolfsburg Home
Bayer Leverkusen
Kits for Bayer Leverkusen are officially manufactured and distributed by Jako.

A surprise change from their traditional designs and I'm liking how this looks. There are not many teams that play with black as their primary colour in their home kits and this jersey makes the change look good. The red collars and sleeve trims add a certain depth to the strip.
Rating - 9/10
Away
A refreshing red colour with the right supporting yellow colours on the collar and sleeve trims. A very neat design, The shoulder design is not bad, either. Knocked out of the park with the design.
Rating - 9/10
Bayern Munich
Adidas is the official manufacturer and distributor of all Bayern Munich jerseys for the season 2020-21. Only the home and away jerseys have been released so far, leaks of the third kit are available.
Home
Classic red, new side design. A little experiment with another shade of red to make stripes as the base.White-collar and sleeve trim. A simple jersey, with a modern take to it.
Rating - 8/10
Away
Plain grey jerseys seem naturally good. Paired with the neon orange like on this jersey they make it worth the 1000 bucks that they are sold at. The white at the sides, collar and sleeve trims make it easier to look at in action.
Armenia Bielefeld
Macron will be sponsoring newly promoted Armenia Biefeld regarding their jerseys. Home, away and third jerseys have all been released.
Home
The new kids on the block are certainly going to be sporting a good look playing other top teams from Germany. A black jersey with blue-black band running through the front. Furthermore, blue-black collars and sleeve trims. I say, what a neat strip!
Rating - 9/10
Away
Bundesliga jerseys are unbelievably good. This one by Macron is no exception. A similar pattern to the one seen in the home kit, the primary on this one is white, with a blue-black band running through the front. Alternate collar and sleeve trim design, here, and it looks fantastic.
Rating - 9.5/10
Third
Same pattern on three jerseys, with three different outcomes. This one has orange to be its primary colour and a lighter orange running through as two parallel bands in the front. A white retro collar and white sleeve trim, great idea.
Rating - 8/10
Borussia Dortmund
Kits for Dortmund are officially produced by Puma. Only the home jersey and the third jerseys have been released, so far.

Too hyped. The sponsor doesn't really fit in. Same colour scheme - no complaints with that. The design makes it look like a Pokemon.
Rating - 7/10
Away
Much better. The spray-painted yellow, the graffiti on the side, yellow logos. This kit defines modern jerseys. The black sleeves and shoulders compared to the grey on the front make everything poop out.
Rating - 9/10
Third
Absolutely neat! The yellow, grey and dull yellow pixel-like designs on a white base are a new design and it looks unbelievable.
Rating - 9.5/10
Eintracht Frankfurt
Nike is the official kit sponsor and distributor for Eintracht Frankfurt. Only the home jersey has been released yet.
Home
Similar to the AC Milan jersey, this one has gradation is it's red. It is really what sets it apart. The graphics on the red make it seem enjoyable and the black adds character.
HomeA grey scaly pattern on a white base. Has anyone thought of this before?
Rating - 8/10
Away
A great design on a black jersey, both, in black and white. There's really nothing more to say about this beauty.
Rating - 9.5/10
Third
A nice neon-ish green colour with black highlights in the form of logos, sleeve trims and collar. Speaking of collar, great retro design! Unfortunately, there's nothing special here.
Rating - 7.5/10
Hertha Berlin
Nike is official kit sponsors of Hertha BSC.
Home
Old, repetitive and boring. There's nothing relatively new that we haven't seen over the years.
Rating - 6/10
Away
Chelsea wore something of the same sort just this season and frankly, I wasn't a fan when Chelsea wore it, and I'm not a fan when Hertha wears it. On the bright side, it looks better than their home jersey.
Rating - 7/10
FC Koln
UhlSport is official kit sponsors of FC Koln. Only the home strip has been released, so far, with leaks available for the third kit.
Home
Great design, worked well for both red and white. Absolutely fantastic. Could have used some detailing with black, though.
RB LeipzigNike is designing all RB Leipzig kits for the 2020-21 season. Only the home and away jerseys have been unveiled, but leaks for third are available.
Home
A regular RB Leipzig with a great addition on the sides. The yellow and red stripes on the side make the jersey look so much cooler. Brilliant.
Rating - 8/10
Away
A new colour for the Leipzig team. Blue pairs really well orange, and I know this only after seeing this jersey. The orange on the sides and the collar look really well. And if that wasn't enough, yellow is seen on the logos.
Rating - 9/10
Third
Another great design, the interesting pattern behind, orange on the logos, collar trims and collar. The neon-ish blue pairs well with the darker, navy blue.
Rating - 8.5/10
Mainz
Kappa has designed, manufactured and distributed the Mainz kits.
Home
Wow. Great design on the front of the shirt. Not to mention the design on the sleeves. The Kappa logo in the shirt trim makes the sleeve look so much better than it could have looked. The main sponsors actually fit into the design, unlike many other front sponsors.
Rating - 9/10
Schalke
Umbro has designed all kits for Schalke.

Rating - 8/10
Away
Loving the design on the background! A white jersey, with grey patterns on it. Doesn't sound too good, but looks really neat.
VfB Stuttgart
Jako has designed all kits for VfB Stuttgart for the upcoming season.
Home
This is exactly the same jersey that they had worn this season, there are absolutely zero changes. Maybe except for the addition of the red stripe on the collar, collar trim and sides.
Rating - 6/10
Away
Now, this is a new jersey. It's also a very exciting jersey. Black is the primary colour with transparent horizontal bands of red, filled with graffiti. All logos are silver and there's a pattern on the shoulders.
Rating - 9.5/10
Umbro has designed, manufactured and distributed all kits for the 2020-21 season.

A white jersey. With shaded green patterns on the sleeve. This kit looks really fun and fresh. It brings a 'new' kinda feeling.
Rating - 8/10
Nike has designed all jerseys for Wolfsburg.
A great design. There always are improvements to any jersey, this one having black instead of white as it's highlight colour. Otherwise, clean, neat, perfect.
Rating - 8.5/10
Away
Rating - 10/10
Third
Another home-run jersey for Wolfsburg. The blue looks really good with the white and with that added green between the white, Wolfsburg can be identified by their colour. Smart collars and sleeves. Great accommodation of logos.
Rating - 9.5/10
So that's the end of the Bundesliga segment of my Kit Review series. In general, I think Bundesliga has the best jerseys overall. I have never given such high ratings to any other leagues. I'm thinking of covering Serie A kits next, under a couple of days. Which is your favourite jersey so far? Do you agree with my opinions? If not, I'd love to hear them in the comments. If you have any suggestion, reach out to me via email - vifa.is.awesome@gmail.com or Instagram - @v.id.eep. Lastly, don't forget to subscribe and share!
