Leaked and Released Jerseys of the 2020-21 season from the Serie A - Kit Review!
Football in most
countries has come to the end of the season. Fans are left with two options -
complain and wait till the next set of fixtures are announced, and to feel excited
as all clubs start dropping their kit concepts and styles for the upcoming
season. I choose to feel excited. Here, we will take an analytical view of
major kit releases and leaks and rate them. Today, we continue
from where we left last time and start with the Italian clubs playing at the
top-most tier.
Serie A League-wide Common Font!
Serie A is
planning to implement a common league-wide font, which each team will have to
follow and write player names from the same.
Its really
not that bad, except it takes away the uniqueness each kit brought with their
own kits.
Fiorentina
Kappa has replaced Le Coq Sportif as
the official kit sponsors of Fiorentina. No jersey has been released; concepts
of home and away jerseys are available.
Home
A regular,
clean purple kit. Nothing new. Nothing bad. Just plain, old, regular. Better
kit sponsors, though.
Rating – 6.5/10
Away
A nice
design to put on a jersey. Certainly makes it look smarter. Gives out a
historic message, too. Apparently, the design on the jersey symbolizes the flag
of the patrons of the city, who were chosen by the Republic of Florence in the
early twelfth century.
Rating – 8/10
Inter Milan
Nike is the official kit sponsors of
Inter Milan for the 2020-21 season. Only home and away jerseys have been
released, leaks for the third kit are available.
Home
Traditional
colour, modern design. Great outlook on a kit that has been all throughout
football history. Kudos to the designers.
Rating – 9/10
Away
A very
confusing design. Same colours of the home kit arranged in a checks design on a
white background, randomly. An experiment gone wrong.
Rating – 5.5/10
Third
Leaks
expecting it to be quite similar to the 97-98 iconic team that won the UEFA Cup
and achieved 2nd spot in the Serie A. A great jersey, nice Hoops
design and the collar trim and collar look nice.
Rating – 9/10
Juventus
Nike is the official kit sponsors of
Juventus for the 2020-21 season. Only the home kit has been unveiled, with
leaks of both, away and third jerseys available.
Home
Juventus
shift back to stripes after this season’s half and half jerseys and it is a
creative comeback. The black is in brushstroke stripes, and all logos and
detailing are done in golden. It’s a very smart look for the reigning
champions.
Rating – 9.5/10
Away
A very
simple dark blue jerseys, with all the detailing done in silver. A good shape
for the collar, anda great design on the sleeves. The design on the shoulders
is great, too. Similar to Argentina’s away jersey in the 2014 World Cup.
Rating – 9/10
Third
A very wild
design to be featured for a football kit. The colour scheme is spot on, but the
design it's been put in, a camouflage-type pattern doesn’t suit my tastes at
all.
Rating – 7/10
SS Lazio
Macron has all official rights to be
the kit designers and manufacturers. Only the home and third kits have been
released so far.
Home
A light blue
jersey with very subtle designs, but a great look for Lazio. The collar looks
great with the white on it, the sleeve trims have white patterns on them,
there's a whole white fading pattern on the shoulders and there's a slight white
patch under the shoulders.
Rating – 9/10
Third
The same pattern
as that of the home kit, but this one’s primary is dark blue and all the
detailing is done in the home kit’s primary blue. It’s simply great to look at
and almost faultless.
Rating – 9.5/10
AC Milan
Puma is the official kit sponsors and
distributors for the upcoming season. Only the home kit has been released, but
the away and third kits have been leaked.
Home
A
traditional AC Milan jersey, with lesser stripes than this season, but a more
patterned black stripe. The sleeves are black.
Rating – 8/10
Away
The Milan
away football shirt will be predominantly white with a subtle graphic print.
The logos were thought to be red, but are going to be black because that’s how
they are shown to be on the shorts.
I cannot really rate a jersey based
on just this picture 😂😂
Third
Milan's third shirt will have a teal-ish blue base with a darker shade of blue used for the graphic design. The Puma logo and player names will be white.
AS Roma
Nike are the
official sponsors of the 2020-21 kit. Both, home and away jerseys have been
released.
Home
Inspired
from the magnificent 1979-80 home design, this jersey is splendid! The red,
orange, yellow gradation of stripes on the chest in front of a brown primary
colour.
Rating – 9/10
Away
My God!
What an absolute beauty! I’m, sorry, I cannot describe this one.
Rating – 10/10
